[Waldläuferbrief #01] Ein neues Feuer wird entfacht

[Woodsman Letter #01] A new fire is lit

Hello,

If you are reading this letter, you either scanned the QR code on one of my handmade flyers, signed up through the shop, or you are browsing the Silent Bushcraft archive. Whichever way you found your path here: Welcome to the campfire.

This is the official **Issue #01** of the *Woodcraft Letters*.

In a digital world that is getting faster, louder, and overloaded with mindless advertising, I want to create a conscious counterpoint. Silent Bushcraft stands for the primitive, the craftsmanship, and the peace of the woods. That is exactly what these letters are meant to be.

Therefore, an ironclad rule applies from this day forward: **You will only hear from me once a month – always on the first Sunday evening.** No spam, no daily "buy now" emails. Instead, an honest letter from me, straight from the workshop to your smartphone or PC.

Starting next month, every letter will follow three fixed paths. Today, we use these paths to lay the foundation for everything to come:

**🌲 1. Woodcraft Tips & Tricks**
In this section, starting next month, I will share useful wilderness knowledge with you – field-tested knowledge, no theoretical nonsense from behind a desk.
The most important tip for today's Issue #01 is: **Deceleration**. Next time you are out in the woods, leave your phone in your pack. Sit on a log for 10 minutes and just listen. The wilderness teaches us patience – a quality that I also put into every single knife I forge.

**🥾 2. Expeditions**
This is where I will take you along on my adventures into the forests. You will see how my gear – from the Kuksa to the Yakut knife – performs in the toughest real-world conditions. No polished studio shots, just honest dirt, rain, and true craftsmanship. I don't just want to sell you tools; I want to inspire you to go out and leave your own tracks.

**🪓 3. On the Anvil**
As a one-man operation, I am the designer, the blacksmith, the packer, and the mailman all in one. In this final part of the letter, I will give you a deep look behind the scenes of the workshop. You will be the first to know which projects are currently on the anvil and when limited new batches will drop into the shop. Since I don't produce to order, but only sell what is fully finished in stock, the readers of this letter will always get first access.

The fire is lit. Thank you for your trust and your support for authentic, traditional craftsmanship.

We will hear from each other on the first Sunday of September for Issue #02 – featuring the first practical bushcraft tip and a story from the woods.

Take care, and see you in the woods,

**Nico**
*Founder & Craftsman of Silent Bushcraft*
