The leather was dyed with 100% natural, alcohol-based dyes in the color \"walnut.\" A \"vintage\" finish seals the pores, protects the knife and sheath from moisture, and gives the overall handcrafted piece a wonderfully rustic look. The highlight is the traditional \"saddler's stitch\"! (Each stitch contains a knot between the two leather pieces.)
