Leather sheaths for hook knives, spoon knives and other curved blades

These leather sheaths are a 100% handmade product. There are two versions: the basic version and the premium version. Differences: Basic: The knife sheath is made of 1.8mm thick leather from Germany. The sheath consists of a single piece of leather that can be closed with two snap fasteners. This sheath is universally applicable and provides "simple" and affordable transport protection for various paring knives from Morakniv, for example.

Premium

For the premium version, 2mm-thick cowhide from Germany was used. Three layers of leather were sewn together using a saddler's stitch. This special "leather stitch" can only be sewn by hand and is a testament to its particularly high quality and strength. With the saddler's stitch, the individual leather layers are connected in the middle with knots after each stitch (knots not visible from the outside). This has the great advantage that if the thread breaks (breaks) in one place, the other stitches are all individually secured, preventing the seam from completely "coming undone." ("A saddler's stitch lasts a lifetime!")

In the premium version, all leather parts were bonded together with a special leather glue, and all outer edges were finished with a matching color. Only the highest quality materials and tools were used. The premium leather sheath is a true work of craftsmanship and a real eye-catcher for any woodcarver!
