The weight of the blade, sharpened on a Japanese waterstone, and the turned ash wood handle are perfectly balanced, offering excellent feel and accuracy for the finest carving movements from the wrist.

The blade, forged from 52100 carbon steel and perfectly ground, leaves nothing to be desired and is ready for immediate use upon delivery.

The traditional double "saddler's stitch" was used for the sewn leather sheath! (Each stitch contains a knot between the two pieces of leather)

This elaborate, handcrafted stitching technique guarantees exceptional durability and demonstrates very high quality, as it can only be done by hand. All outer edges have been sealed with a special leather edge finish. Finally, all surfaces have been treated with leather grease to protect them from drying out and ensure a long lifespan.
