This fine, round whetstone is the ideal companion for the classic bushcrafter and wood carver. The shape and size of the whetstone fit perfectly in any hand, allowing for a comfortable and clean grinding finish. The round shape of the stone is ideal for curved blades (spoon knives, gouges, etc.). The stone is made of dark brown corundum with an 800 grit. A hand-stitched leather case/sheath is included for protection and safe transport and use. This case is made of cowhide from Germany. The saddle stitching also testifies to the high quality of the craftsmanship. This whetstone is a real eye-catcher and a must-have for every spoon carver!
